Financial Consulting Manager - Fund Services - Property Accounting

As a Fund\Property Accounting Professional at RSM, you will work within the Fund Services+ team specializing in providing managed services to Private Equity and Real Estate Groups. Your role involves assuming ownership of the fund complex, handling property/investment accounting, reviewing financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance, supporting client queries, and collaborating globally for client servicing. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end property/investment accounting and reporting for the fund complex - Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting packages - Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls per GAAP - Handle entity's operations bookkeeping including cash booking, expense accruals, assets accounting, and more - Assist in onboarding clients, setting up entities, assets, and creating customized reports - Develop and review SOPs and checklists for process completeness and accuracy - Review capital calls, distribution calculations, and schedules through technology platform - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members - Promote team retention and assist in career development Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in property/investment services domain - 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring teams - Ability to interpret Investment Agreements and Structures for PE/RE entities - Undergraduate degree in accounting - CPA and/or CA preferred - Proficient in Investment accounting platforms (Yardi knowledge preferred) - Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organized - Demonstrates a strong work ethic, team player mentality, and integrity - Effective oral and written communication skills - Adaptable to dynamic environments and skilled in managing multiple projects RSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, schedule flexibility, and equal opportunities for all individuals.
