Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Consulting Associate to join our team in New Delhi, with 2-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance optimization. Roles and Responsibility Manage complex accounting concepts and financial reporting. Draft financial statements according to SEC regulations for IPO and other filings. Perform audit readiness support for complex accounting matters and provide services to U.S.-based public clients. Review reporting and disclosure requirements applicable to registration statements filed with the SEC and Rule 144A offerings. Assist in preparing and reviewing technical memos and other disclosures on engagements. Demonstrate knowledge of IFRS conversions, business combination (ASC-805), consolidation (ASC-810), revenue recognition, IPO transaction support, carve outs, fair value accounting, lease accounting, and other relevant areas. Job Requirements Chartered Accountant/CPA with 2-4 years of technical accounting experience. Understanding of audit services with knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Intermediate to advanced level experience with GAAP standards such as ASC 280, 810, 470, 815, 825, 860, ASC 805, 323, 325, 480 preferred. Experience with IFRS 10, 9, 3, IAS 28, 32. Exposure to accounting and financial reporting of IPO vehicles like traditional IPOs, REITs, SPACs or DeSPAC projects, business trusts, reverse recapitalizations, etc. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience working in a capability centre delivery model for U.S. clients. Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards is an added advantage.
