Job Description

As a Finance Professional for a company in Chennai on a contract basis, your primary responsibilities will include: - Timely presentation of MIS to the Business Unit Head (BUH), providing performance commentary, and driving revenue enhancement and cost control initiatives. - Collaborating closely with the BUH to finalize the Monthly Rolling Forecast and yearly Business Plan activities. - Assisting the finance controller in Audit Closure activities. - Working with the business team to ensure revenue closure. - Automating the regular usage of reports. - Implementing measures to prevent revenue leakage and ensuring the presence of internal controls for Revenue Assurance. - Evaluating pricing for new prospects and reviewing contracts. - Tracking costs and providing insights to the BUH for optimization. - Preparing sales incentives in accordance with the Internal Policy. - Ensuring timely Invoicing and reviewing collections. - Collaborating with Management/Business Unit on initiatives for Revenue enhancement and Margin Improvements. Additionally, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Works Accountant (CWA) with 5 to 8 years of experience in Business finance/MIS. - High proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications. - Strong business acumen. - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.,
