Job Description

Working on Client documents, which are required to be filed with SEC (Securities Exchange Commission).
The primary responsibilities include the preparation of Financial Statements including Balance sheets, Statements of Income and Cash Flow statements basis on US-GAAP standards Analyses the company's financial information. Regulatory Reporting (covering the entire Annual Report 10K and Quarterly Report 10Q) for the US Companies as mandated by SEC.
Accounting knowledge is must to decide regarding Debit and Credit aspects of accounting, so that once filed with SEC, anyone (Investors / Debtors / Creditors or any layman) can understand.
Browse Google for more information regarding XBRL and Aptara. Majority of the interview questions may be pertaining to basics of Accounts / Finance.
Good communication skill is must.
