Financial Analyst- Corporate Real Estate

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct

  renew vs. relocate

  and

  lease vs. buy

  analysis across commercial office (and other asset types as appropriate) locations globally
• Benchmark critical CRE metrics such as

  cost per FTE

  ,

  occupancy cost ratio

  ,

  total cost of occupancy

  and build into financial models.
• Provide financial advisory support on

  global CRE projects

  , including consolidation, expansion, rationalization, and portfolio optimization.
• Evaluate the financial feasibility of

  freehold acquisition

  compared to leasehold scenarios, including ownership risk, lifecycle cost, and potential return on investment
• Build detailed, flexible financial models (e.g.,

  NPV

  ,

  IRR

  ,

  DCF

  ,

  payback period

  ) to support scenario-based decisions
• Run

  sensitivity and scenario analyses

  reflecting key variables such as space demand, location costs, market conditions, and capital constraints
• Collaborate with internal teams (brokerage, workplace, project management) and client stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Prepare clear, actionable reporting and presentations for executive-level decision-makers
• Track and analyse market trends in leasing, capital markets, and location economics to inform client strategy

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong Excel modelling capabilities (experience with

  Power BI

  , or

  Tableau

  a plus)
• Degree in

  Finance, Economics, Property, Business or Accounting

  or related field.
• Flexibility to work across time zones (US, Europe and Asia) and liaising with colleagues/client stakeholders across the globe.
• Ideally 2- 4 years of experience in financial modelling or investment analysis, ideally within corporate real estate, advisory, or consultancy
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with global scope and high expectations
