Finance Reporting Analyst 2

As a Finance Reporting Analyst 2 at our company, you will play a crucial role in the generation, reviewing, and escalation of reconciliation exceptions in coordination with the Finance Controller Team. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing reconciliation procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) R1 deliverables of Strategic Ledger reconciliation processes. - Monitoring exceptions on a day-to-day basis for the Strategic Ledger. - Performing regular reconciliation, investigating discrepancies between different ledger systems, and providing results to exception owners for resolution. - Analyzing breaks to identify trends and anomalies in ledger data, escalating as needed. - Providing regular updates to management on open breaks. - Collaborating with Technology and other Finance teams to ensure timely resolution of breaks. - Driving reduction in open breaks and working with partners on strategic solutions. - Maintaining a strong R&C ethic in the team. - Updating process documentation regularly. - Escalating problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures. - Applying technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills to create effective desktop procedures. Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry preferred. - Working knowledge of Oracle Ledger reconciliation is a plus. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree. In this role, you will be expected to integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. You will also need to appropriately assess risks in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and reporting control issues with transparency.,
