Finance Manager - Financial Reporting - Retail Industry

A Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and accuracy of all financial reports, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), managing the financial reporting team, and providing key financial insights to senior management by analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic decision-making, while collaborating closely with other departments to gather necessary information and maintain robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Preparation:

• Lead the preparation and review of accurate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with Ind AS and relevant regulations.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for subsidiaries, if applicable.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insightful reports to senior management.
• Prepare management dashboards and presentations to effectively communicate key financial metrics.

Audit Management:

• Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountancy (CA) Inter or CMA Inter qualification with relevant post-qualification experience for minimum of 5-7
• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Expertise in financial reporting principles and practices
