Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to manage and strengthen the financial operations of a growing organization. The role requires hands-on ownership of accounting, financial controls, reporting, and coordination with management and external stakeholders to build a robust finance function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and finalization of accounts

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business growth

• Establish and monitor internal financial controls and compliance processes

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities for audits and filings

• Oversee statutory compliances including GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable regulations

• Monitor working capital, vendor payments, receivables, and cash management

• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management decision-making

• Support management in financial planning, cost control, and profitability analysis

• Assist in fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting, if applicable

• Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting structures

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data and records

Eligibility & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles

• Strong hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting

• Experience in startups/NBFCs, or fast-growing organizations preferred

• Good knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliances

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
