Position Summary:

Finance Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Support the monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor petty cash transactions.
• Assist with budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers for financial matters.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance Manager and team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (hospitality experience preferred).
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
• Good communication skills in English (Spanish knowledge is an asset).
• Ability to relocate and work in the Caribbean region.
