As a sector partner of the National Jal Jeevan Mission, WASH Institute offers quality training programs, technical assistance to the Government of India, grassroots programs, and research & advocacy. The organization supports several ministries including the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Ministry of Jal Shakti, while also implementing grassroots-level CSR projects across 17 locations in 9 states. WASH Institute also offers formal courses in affiliation with Madurai Kamaraj University and has received national-level awards for its contributions in the sanitation sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance and Accounts Assistant located in Vijayawada. The Finance and Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing daily finance activities including credit control and petty cash handling, maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting financial planning and analysis, and assisting in budget preparation. The role also involves preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with other departments for financial management and control.

• Finance and Accounting experience
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Relevant experience in the NGO sector is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
