The Finance and Accounts department in Axis is responsible for planning, organizing, auditing, accounting and controlling the Bank s finances The finance department produces the company s financial statements and is responsible for compliance with government norms and tax filingsAbout the RoleThe Financial Reporting Team is responsible for Financial Reporting under Indian GAAP (standalone and consolidated) They are also responsible for the preparation of MIS and reconciliations and assist in the quarterly/annual statutory audit and SoX auditResponsible for the preparation of key reports for Financial Reporting team and monitoring of key processes on a regular basis within pre-agreed timelinesAssist in the monthly and quarterly preparation of P and L and Balance SheetAssist in compiling data for Risk Based Supervision (RBS) to be submitted to RBIAssist in executing miscellaneous adhoc activities / projects which may come up from time to timeResponsible for passing the day to day accounting entries in systemQualificationsCA/ MBA from a recognized instituteRole ProficienciesKnowledge of accounting, analytics and auditKnowledge of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel and Word)Knowledge of financial reporting and ability to work with financial dataDemonstrate management control of delegated tasks
