Job Description – Finance & Accounts Executive

Position: Finance & Accounts Executive
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: A4 Hospitals & Fertility centre
Reports to: Finance Manager / Accounts Head

Job Summary:

The Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, statutory compliances, and financial reporting. The role specifically focuses on TDS, GST filing, and Income Tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions as per statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other ledgers.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow, and MIS reports.

2. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle TDS computation, deduction, payment, and filing of returns.
  • Manage GST computation, input tax credit, reconciliation, and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
  • Assist in Income Tax computation & filing of returns for the company and employees (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, deadlines, and audits.

3. Payroll & Vendor Payments

  • Support payroll processing and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT).
  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Ensure correct TDS deduction on vendor/consultant payments.

4. Audit & Reporting

  • Assist in internal and statutory audits.
  • Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Provide data for management decision-making and budgeting.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and government authorities for compliance.
  • Support the finance manager in financial planning and cost control.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial records and data.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance & accounts (healthcare/industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax filings.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Good understanding of statutory compliance and financial regulations.
