Job Brief:

Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings.

• Supervise and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts.

• Review journal entries, payment vouchers, and expense claims.

• Coordinate with auditors for annual audit processes and assist with internal audits.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and Indian accounting standards.

• Liaise with banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities as required.

• Mentor and guide junior accountants and support staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com).

Experience:

• 24 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books,).

• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

• Sound knowledge of Indian Taxation and Companies Act.
