Job Title : FileNet Support Lead
Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled - FileNet Support Lead- with expertise in - FileNet Content Engine (CE), IBM Content Navigator, Java/J2EE, RESTful Services, SQL, JavaScript, and Dojo .
The ideal candidate should have experience in leading a support team , troubleshooting technical issues, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders.
This role involves managing application support for FileNet-based web applications, ensuring system stability, and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities : - Technical Support & Issue Resolution : - Lead the support and maintenance of web applications built on - FileNet Content Engine (CE), IBM Content Navigator, and Java/J2EE- - Troubleshoot Java, JavaScript, Dojo, SQL, and RESTful API-related- issues. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA)- and implement fixes for production issues. - Optimize database performance, ensuring smooth operation of Oracle SQL databases. - Ensure application security, scalability, and performance enhancements. - Perform - unit and integration testing- for application changes and fixes. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication : - Lead and mentor the support team, ensuring efficient issue resolution. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact- for customer interactions regarding system issues, updates, and enhancements.
- Track incidents, service requests, and problem resolutions , ensuring timely delivery. - Maintain clear and professional communication via emails, reports, and documentation . System Monitoring & Optimization : - Monitor system health, logs, and database performance. - Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) for incident resolution. - Implement best practices for data integrity, system reliability, and process automation- . Continuous Improvement & Documentation : - Identify opportunities to improve system performance and support processes. - Maintain detailed - technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. - Stay updated with the latest - FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, Java, and database- trends and updates. Required Skills & Experience : - 5+ years of experience in supporting web applications built on FileNet CE, IBM Content Navigator, and Java/J2EE. - Strong expertise in SQL databases, particularly Oracle . - Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Dojo, and front-end troubleshooting . - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in API integration. - Experience in unit and integration testing- methodologies. - Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues, resolve incidents, and optimize applications. - Strong communication and email writing skills , with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in coordinating with multiple teams, tracking deliverables, and managing customer interactions. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment . - Exposure to cloud-based FileNet solutions- - Familiarity with automation and scripting tools- for system monitoring and maintenance. - Certification in FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, or related technologies
