Field Service Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Maintenance and Repairs:

2. Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on oil and gas equipment including fuel dispensers at retail outstations like petrol pumps to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

3. Troubleshooting:

4. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during equipment operation using deep knowledge of systems and processes.

5. Installation and Commissioning:

6. Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment ensuring compliance with guidelines and safety standards.

7. Customer Support:

8. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, address concerns, and offer solutions to maximize operational efficiency and safety.

9. Safety Compliance:

10. Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations; identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

11. Documentation and Reporting:

12. Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and modifications; provide reports to supervisors or management.

13. Training and Knowledge Sharing:

14. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

15. Continuous Improvement:

16. Identify and propose improvements in maintenance processes and service delivery to management.

17. Field Operations Coordination:

18. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to prioritize tasks and ensure timely resolution of issues.

19. Adherence to Company Policies:

20. Follow company protocols related to quality control, health, safety, and environmental protection to maintain operational standards and reputation.
