Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer or Supervisor, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of wastewater treatment plants for our clients. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Site Visit and Technical Support**: - Conduct regular visits to client sites for STP/ETP/UF/RO/ZLD systems. - Troubleshoot operational issues related to pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and automation. - Support clients with system start-up, commissioning, and optimization. - **Performance Monitoring and Optimization**: - Monitor and evaluate plant performance parameters such as flow, BOD, COD, pH, and TDS. - Provide suggestions for improving plant efficiency and chemical usage. - Ensure treated water quality meets local regulatory and client-specific standards. - **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance**: - Execute preventive maintenance plans for mechanical and electrical equipment. - Identify faulty components and coordinate with the client for replacements. - Maintain service tools and spares inventory required for site interventions. - **Client Training and Guidance**: - Train operators on SOPs, routine checks, safety practices, and troubleshooting. - Develop and deliver site-specific training modules when required. - Build good rapport with clients and act as a technical support partner. - **Documentation and Reporting**: - Prepare detailed service reports for every site visit including findings, actions, and recommendations. - Maintain site-wise service records, log sheets, and performance tracking. - Ensure timely submission of service reports to the internal team and clients. - **Regulatory and Safety Compliance**: - Ensure client sites follow proper statutory norms (SPCB/CPCB) related to wastewater discharge. - **Chemical and Consumable Management**: - Advise clients on optimal chemical selection and dosing schedules. - Monitor inventory and consumption patterns for key consumables like chemicals and filters. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, you will be required to work full-time with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule may involve day shifts, rotational shifts, and weekend availability at various in-person locations.
