Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in implementing PSS - DeltaV DCS services, including various types of service contracts, system support for different systems, lead generation for business opportunities, and delivery services following SMO standards. You will be responsible for managing the DeltaV installed base across the Central region, handling multiple service contracts, generating additional revenue, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Manage DeltaV installed base of 200 systems in the Central region. - Handle 30-35 Active AMC / Service Contracts annually, including travel. - Achieve billing value of 180-200 KUSD from allocated sites. - Generate additional revenue of 25-30 KUSD by adding new service contracts. - Maintain operational efficiency of the region at or below 90%. Qualifications Required: - Technical proficiency as a team member and self-directed contributor. - Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) is a basic requirement. - Knowledge of Metal & Mining / Chemical Industry / Refinery is an added advantage. - Familiarity with Batch, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Networking, Safety Systems, Charms I/O, Cybersecurity, and AMS is preferred. - Ability to collaborate within a team, receive guidance, and lead interactions with customers. - Understanding of industry landscape, project execution, and customer requirements. - Pursuing or holding relevant certifications in the field. - Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech (Instrumentation / ECE/ Electrical). Candidates with similar engineering degrees and experience will also be considered.
