Job Description

As a Field Sales Representative in the Apparel & Fashion Retail industry, you will be responsible for owning an assigned territory and executing field sales plans to acquire and expand retail accounts, distributors, and multi-brand outlets. Your goal will be to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets while developing and managing channel partners and key accounts through negotiating terms, setting SKU mix, managing stock allocations, and ensuring on-shelf availability and visual merchandising standards. You will drive route-to-market initiatives by implementing trade promotions, merchandising campaigns, and local activations to increase sell-through and market share. It will be essential for you to deliver accurate sales forecasting, update the pipeline, and provide territory-level reporting through CRM tools. Your responsibilities will also include converting leads into orders and managing collections follow-up. Monitoring competitor activity and market trends will be crucial to recommend pricing, assortment, and promotional adjustments to maximize margins and volume. You will also play a role in coaching and influencing retail staff and distributor sales teams on product features, merchandising standards, and sales techniques to enhance execution. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 3 years of proven field sales experience in apparel, fashion retail, footwear, or FMCG with demonstrated ownership of territories and targets. Strong B2B selling skills are necessary, including success in retailer/distributor acquisition, contract negotiation, and account management. Familiarity with retail merchandising, visual standards, and SKU-level assortment planning is required, along with proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho, MS Excel for reporting, and basic sales forecasting. The role involves frequent travel within the assigned territory and a flexible hybrid work model that combines fieldwork with remote tasks. A valid driving license is preferred. Experience in managing distributor relationships and scaling roll-outs across multi-city territories, as well as exposure to incentive-driven sales environments and trade marketing activities, are preferred qualifications.
