Job Description

As a Field Sales Executive in IT Hardware, you'll drive growth by identifying and engaging new business opportunities, providing expert guidance on hardware solutions (servers, networking gear, desktops, laptops, peripherals), and managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and post-sale support.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Prospect & Lead Generation

Identify potential clients across SMB and enterprise segments via field visits, cold calls, and networking

Client Meetings & Presentations

Conduct face-to-face meetings and product demos, and deliver compelling proposals ─ demonstrating deep product knowledge .

Sales Cycle Management

Manage end-to-end sales process—needs analysis, quoting, negotiation, contract management—to consistently meet or exceed targets

Relationship & Pipeline Management

Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, upsell new hardware refresh/replacement cycles, and keep CRM updated

Post-Sale Coordination

Work closely with technical support, logistics, and implementation teams for delivery setup, installation, and troubleshooting

Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback. Provide regular sales forecasts and market insights to management

Event Participation

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and vendor-hosted joint presentations

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field .

Experience

1–5 years in field sales—preferably in IT hardware, networking, or related B2B sales environments

Product Knowledge

Strong understanding of hardware product lines (servers, routers, laptops, storage, etc.) and IT infrastructure.

Sales & CRM Skills

Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office

Personal Attributes

Self‑motivated, target-driven, organized, with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel/own a vehicle where needed

Desired Skills (Bonus)

Pre-sales or technical support experience (e.g., preparing proposals, tender responses)
