Job Position : Field sales Executive

Job Location : Tenkasi , Thurayur , Dharapuram

Experience: Fresher / Experienced

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Product Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of dairy products, their benefits, and applications.
  • Knowledge of farm industry products (e.g., animal feed, fertilizers, or equipment).
  • Awareness of market trends and customer preferences in the dairy and agriculture sectors.

2. Sales and Negotiation Skills:

  • Ability to identify and approach potential customers (farmers, distributors, retailers).
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Expertise in upselling and cross-selling relevant products.

3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
  • Responding to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints promptly.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and provide tailored solutions.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Identifying market opportunities, competitors, and challenges in the region.
  • Understanding seasonal demands and planning sales strategies accordingly.
  • Gathering insights on pricing, distribution, and customer preferences.

5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Clear and persuasive communication for product presentations and discussions.
  • Building trust with farmers, vendors, and distributors through effective interpersonal interactions.

6. Territory Management:

  • Ability to plan and manage sales activities in assigned territories.
  • Efficient route planning to maximize customer visits and sales productivity.

7. Technical Knowledge:

  • Understanding the nutritional and quality aspects of dairy and farm products.
  • Knowledge of storage, handling, and transportation requirements for perishable products.

8. Sales Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintaining detailed records of sales activities, customer feedback, and transactions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and reporting tools for data analysis and sales tracking.

9. Adaptability and Resilience:

  • Willingness to work in diverse field conditions, including rural areas.
  • Resilience to handle rejection and maintain a positive outlook.

10. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

  • Addressing customer issues related to product quality or delivery efficiently.
  • Providing quick solutions that align with customer expectations and company goals.

11. Technical Tools and Technology:

  • Familiarity with mobile apps or devices used for order booking, invoicing, and payment collection.
  • Basic knowledge of GPS and route optimization tools.
