Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

Source and recruit candidates for production, assembly, machine operation, welders, Fitters, Fabricators, Painters, Riggers, warehouse, and other plant roles.
Conduct onsite interviews, assessments, and hiring events to meet daily/weekly staffing targets.
Build and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, social media, community outreach, and local partnerships.
Manage the full-cycle hiring process from application through onboarding.

Plant & Workforce Support

Collaborate with plant leadership, HR, and supervisors to understand staffing needs and skill requirements.
Maintain a visible presence on the plant floor to understand job demands and improve hiring accuracy.
Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure compliance with safety, training, and work-readiness standards.
Track attendance, retention, and hiring metrics to support continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

2 to 3 years of recruiting experience (manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume hiring preferred).
Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Preferred

Experience recruiting for skilled trades (maintenance technicians, CNC machinists, welders, etc.).
Knowledge of labor market trends and hourly workforce best practices.

Work Environment

Frequent onsite work inside manufacturing facilities.
May include weekends or extended hours during peak hiring periods.
Travel between plant locations, community events, and partner organizations.
