Job Description – Field Officer (MFI)

Designation: Field Officer
Department: Operations
Location: Branch Level
Age Limit: Below 30 Years
Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass / ITI
Office Timing: Morning 7.30 AM (Sharp at Direct field or Office) to 6.00 PM

1. Key Responsibilities

a. Loan Sourcing & Promotion

• Identify potential customers in assigned villages/areas.
• Conduct group formation and promote JLG/Microfinance loan products.
• Explain loan procedures, eligibility criteria, and repayment terms.

b. Field Verification

• Conduct FOCPV (Field Officer Client Profile Verification) for all new clients.
• Verify residence, business activity, income sources, and group stability.
• Submit accurate verification reports on time.

c. Center Meeting & Collection

• Conduct daily center meetings as per schedule.
• Ensure 100% collection of weekly/monthly EMI without delay.
• Update collection details in the mobile app/software.

d. Portfolio Management

• Monitor client repayment behavior.
• Identify overdue accounts and follow up systematically.
• Maintain zero NPA and reduce PAR levels.

e. Documentation & Compliance

• Collect necessary KYC documents and application forms.
• Ensure proper documentation as per company and RBI guidelines.
• Follow operational policies without deviation.

f. Customer Relationship

• Build good rapport with clients and community leaders.
• Provide support for any customer queries or service-related needs.
• Promote financial discipline and awareness among customers.

2. Skills & Competencies Required

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively for fieldwork.
• Basic knowledge of mobile apps and data entry.
• Discipline, honesty, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily field targets.

3. Experience

• Freshers can apply.
• Experience in microfinance/banking/fieldwork is an added advantage.

4. Working Conditions

• Daily field visits (2–3 villages).
• Center meetings in morning hours.
• Weekly/monthly target-based work.
• Saturday/Sunday work (as per company norms & field schedules).
