Field Officer - Security Bureau

Job Description

Job Summary: The Security Field Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing on-ground security operations to ensure safety and compliance with organizational security policies. Drawing on their experience in a Security Bureau, the officer will lead incident response, supervise security personnel, and conduct risk assessments across designated areas. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and supervise daily security operations in assigned zones/sites. Conduct routine inspections of personnel, equipment, and protocols to ensure compliance with security standards. Liaise with clients, management, and law enforcement authorities as needed. Manage and mentor on-site security guards and junior personnel. Investigate security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities, and provide detailed reports. Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of security logs, reports, and access control records. Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of security staff. Assess threats and vulnerabilities to improve security protocols. Provide regular briefings and updates to senior management. Qualifications: Proven experience in a Security Bureau, Police, Military, or Government Security Agency. Minimum [3-5] years of field-level security operations experience. Strong leadership and crisis management skills. Sound understanding of physical security, surveillance systems, and risk assessment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours and travel between sites. Physically fit and mentally alert. Certifications in security or crisis management (preferred). Preferred Attributes: Former law enforcement or defense background. Ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
