Field officer

The Field Officer will be responsible for sourcing new clients, conducting field-level activities, supporting loan disbursement and collections and ensuring portfolio quality in assigned areas. The role involves extensive fieldwork and direct interaction with customers.

• Identify and source potential customers for microfinance / NBFC products.
• Conduct center meetings, group formation, and customer onboarding.
• Perform field verification, household visits, and basic credit assessment.
• Collect and verify KYC documents as per company policy.
• Support loan disbursement and explain loan terms, repayment schedules, and policies to customers.
• Ensure timely EMI collections and follow up with customers for overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer data, collections, and daily field activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance norms, and ethical practices.
• Report daily field activities and MIS to the Branch Manager / Area Manager.
• Support audit, inspection, and compliance-related activities at branch and field level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extensively in the field.
• Basic understanding of microfinance / NBFC operations (preferred).
• Ability to interact with rural and semi-urban customers.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, mobile apps).
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Honest, disciplined, and target-oriented attitude.
• Two-wheeler preferred (with valid driving license).
• Willingness to travel locally and work in assigned areas.
• Flexible to work as per business requirements.

Qualification : Minimum: 10+2 / Graduate (any stream preferred).

Experience : 0 to 3 years of experience in field operations, microfinance, NBFC or similar roles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹11,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
