Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a Field Application Engineer tprovide hands-on technical support for our EV charging solutions. The ideal candidate will come with a background in troubleshooting power systems (telecom towers, UPS, solar inverters, etc.) and have a strong understanding of electrical and embedded systems. You will bridge the gap between our service team and R&D department, resolving critical field issues and ensuring top quality customer support in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Troubleshooting & Support Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues in EV chargers and related subsystems. Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and repairs in a variety of real-world conditions. Collaborate with the service team tdevelop quick resolutions, reducing charger downtime and improving customer satisfaction. 2. R&D Collaboration Act as the technical conduit between field services and R&D, communicating recurring issues and feature requests. Work closely with engineering teams trefine product designs and firmware, incorporating feedback from real-world deployments. Participate in post-mortem reviews of incidents tidentify root causes and recommend design improvements or operational best practices. 3. Documentation & Training Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all technical issues, resolutions, and best practices. Provide training tservice technicians and end-users, covering troubleshooting methods and operational guidelines 4. Continuous Improvement Proactively identify and suggest improvements tenhance product reliability and maintainability. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging standards in EV charging, power electronics, and embedded systems. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered. Experience: 3+ years in a technical field role involving telecom towers, UPS, solar inverters, or similar power electronics systems. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and embedded systems in challenging on-site environments. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, power distribution, and AC/DC fundamentals. Familiarity with embedded controllers, firmware updates, and debugging tools. Ability tinterpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts. Soft Skills & Competencies: Analytical Mind: Keen problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach tdiagnosing issues. Communication: Clear written and verbal communication tcollaborate effectively across service, R&D, and customer teams. Adaptability: Comfortable with travel, field conditions, and rapidly changing priorities. Safety Conscious: Strong commitment tfollowing safety standards and protocols in all technical tasks.
