Job Description

The Feeder is responsible for feeding materials into UV or 1 over 1 perfecting printing machines, ensuring a consistent flow of materials and assisting in the printing process. This role is essential for meeting quality standards and production goals, supporting machine operators in the efficient operation of the printing machines. Key Responsibilities: Material Feeding: Feed substrates (e.g., paper, board, film) into the printing machine accurately, ensuring proper alignment. Monitor the supply of materials to ensure continuous production flow and replenish materials as needed. Quality Monitoring: Inspect the materials being fed into the machine to ensure they are free from defects and meet the required quality standards. Report any material or machine-related issues to the machine operator promptly. Machine Assistance: Assist the operator and assistant operator with material handling, machine setup, and preparation for printing jobs. Help with unloading printed materials and preparing the machine for the next print run. Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines when handling materials to avoid contamination or damage. Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Skills & Qualifications: Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience in material handling or a production environment is preferred but not required. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
