Here's a more detailed look at their responsibilities: Restaurant/Hotel Stewards: Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils. They may also assist with table settings, dishwashing, and replenishing supplies. Cruise Ship/Airline Stewards: Ensure passenger comfort and safety, maintain cabins, and may also assist with food service or other duties as needed. General Stewards: In some settings, stewards may also be responsible for organizing events, providing guidance, and offering assistance to visitors. Key tasks often include: Maintaining a clean and organized environment. Ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene. Providing assistance to guests or passengers. Replenishing supplies and managing inventory. Assisting with food service or other operational tasks. Following safety protocols and regulations. Communicating with staff and management.
