Job Description

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a restaurant or cafeterias, ensuring that all food and beverages meet the highest quality standards. Your duties will include designing unique menus, handling customer complaints, establishing company policies, and ensuring compliance with food and safety regulations. Additionally, you will be required to prepare reports on the performance of the catering company. To excel in this role, you should possess extensive experience in the restaurant or catering industry, along with a culinary school degree. Essential skills for a Food and Beverage Manager include the ability to connect with customers effectively and adept problem-solving capabilities to address any issues that may arise in the outlets or cafeterias. Your responsibilities as a Food & Beverage Manager will include: - Holding a Food Safety Supervisor certification from FSSAI - Managing operations at all GSC factories and commercial sites as the single point of contact - Ensuring strict adherence to food production plans and timely dispatch of food to remote sites - Collaborating with clients to enhance revenue through tailored menu offerings - Coordinating with the production team to maintain quality and quantity standards for timely food dispatch - Controlling food costs, reducing wastage, and providing inputs for cost-cutting measures - Ensuring availability of all menu items through cross-level coordination - Building strong relationships based on responsiveness, trust, continuous improvement, and exceeding expectations - Generating P&L reports, MIS reports, budget forecasts, and cost analysis reports - Conducting regular audits of kitchens and approved branded items across sites - Communicating with staff to evaluate morale, identify potential issues, and address training needs - Enforcing daily indent systems for rations, material control, and FIFO system adherence - Providing training to staff on food safety, personal hygiene, and general safety You will also be responsible for implementing various initiatives such as: - Daily sales reporting for Pan India sites - Introducing approved branded items to maintain quality supplies - Implementing cafeteria SOPs for factories and sales offices - Collaborating with regional canteen vendors for improved services - Establishing a cafeteria inventory system for Pan India sites - Managing Pan India AMC vendors for uninterrupted kitchen equipment services - Ensuring vendor follow-ups for SLA renewals, license renewals, and staff medical renewals - Supporting Regional Managers in achieving cafeteria budget goals and maximizing savings - Implementing standard HSEQ policies across Pan India sites - Conducting monthly cafeteria operation reviews and presentations - Collaborating with clients to validate cafeteria budget additions - Upholding high standards of hygiene and quality services across all Pan India sites Qualifications required for the role of Food & Beverage Manager include: - Strong organizational skills - Ability to forecast food requirements accurately - Skill in delegating tasks effectively - Exceptional leadership qualities - Deep understanding of the food industry - Customer-centric mindset - Proficiency in communicating with staff at all levels - Ability to create comprehensive reports for ownership review,
