Job Description

To deliver warm, attentive, and personalized food & beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience that reflects the resort’s luxury, nature-inspired, and guest-centric ethos.

Key Responsibilities1. Guest Service & Dining Operations

  • Greet guests courteously and assist with seating as per service standards
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen/bar
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine-dining and resort SOPs
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs during service
  • Provide room service / in-villa dining as required

2. Menu Knowledge & Upselling

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles
  • Suggest appropriate food and beverage pairings
  • Upsell specials, signature dishes, beverages, and add-ons tactfully

3. Hygiene, Safety & Standards

  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and cleanliness
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
  • Ensure correct handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and linen
  • Adhere to eco-friendly and waste-minimization practices

4. Setup & Closing Duties

  • Set up tables, buffet counters, service stations, and bars as per outlet standards
  • Ensure mise-en-place is ready before service
  • Clear tables promptly and reset for next service
  • Assist in closing duties including cleaning, stock check, and service area organization

5. Coordination & Teamwork

  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and front office teams
  • Communicate guest feedback and special requests to supervisors
  • Assist colleagues during peak hours and special events

6. Guest Feedback & Complaint Handling

  • Respond politely to guest queries and concerns
  • Escalate complaints to supervisors when required
  • Thank guests and encourage feedback

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Pleasant personality with good communication skills
  • Guest-oriented attitude and service mindset
  • Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Basic English communication (Malayalam / Hindi an advantage)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Higher Secondary (Plus Two)
  • Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or F&B Service preferred
  • 0–2 years experience in hotels, resorts, or restaurants
  • Freshers with good attitude may be considered

Work Conditions

  • Shift duties including weekends and public holidays
  • Standing and walking for long periods
  • Outdoor service areas depending on outlet location

  • Adherence to hygiene and service SOPs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
