Job Title: Fast Food cook Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible, proactive, dedicated and efficient Kitchen Staff to join our team at Burger Jeet. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing high-quality burgers and other food items, managing fast-paced operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Burger Preparation & Quality Control: Prepare burgers with speed and precision, ensuring consistency and quality according to the SOP. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recipe preparation, portion control, and ingredient usage. Assemble and package burgers neatly, maintaining presentation and freshness. Ensure accurate order preparation by following all special instructions. 2. Efficiency & Speed Management: Reduce kitchen preparation time by organizing the workstation efficiently. Manage large orders effectively while maintaining quality standards. Prioritize tasks to ensure quick service during peak hours. 3. Portion & Waste Management: Ensure proper portion control to minimize food wastage. Monitor ingredient usage and report low stock levels promptly. Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimize spoilage. Raise Alarm about low inventory stock 4. Packaging & Order Accuracy: Ensure burgers ad all food items are correctly packaged for delivery or takeaway to maintain quality and temperature. Double-check orders to avoid errors and ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation at all times. Follow hygiene protocols and food safety guidelines strictly. Assist in daily cleaning schedules, including equipment and surfaces. 6. Teamwork & Discipline: Follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively with the team. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations. Stay disciplined, punctual, and responsible in fulfilling duties. 7. Customer Interaction (if applicable): Interact with customers when necessary, ensuring a friendly and helpful approach. Address basic queries regarding menu items or ingredients. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in daily briefings to understand the day's priorities and any menu updates. Engage in continuous learning to improve speed and efficiency. Assist in inventory checks and stock management as required. Adhere to company policies and work towards maintaining a positive team environment. Requirements: Prior experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant is preferred. Basic understanding of food preparation, hygiene, and safety protocols. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders efficiently. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills.
