FASHION VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT

As a Business Development Manager focusing on the apparel/retail vertical in India, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage a client base within the apparel industry. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key apparel accounts, conducting research on apparel buying offices, and establishing a strong network to generate potential FOB sales leads. Your role will also involve driving revenue growth in alignment with the company's strategic roadmap to expand the customer base in the fashion vertical. To excel in this role, you must stay updated on the latest trends in the global apparel industry and provide valuable recommendations to the management team. You should have proven experience in handling fashion within the freight forwarding industry and possess a deep understanding of the dynamics of the fashion sector. Your ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the fashion segment, including brands, retailers, exporters, and importers, will be crucial to your success. Moreover, your relationship management skills will be essential in retaining and expanding key accounts within the fashion industry. Ideally, you should have at least 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, with a minimum of 2-3 years dedicated to fashion vertical development. Previous experience working with global retail or fashion brands would be advantageous in this role.,
