FASHION VERTICAL DEVELOPMENT

As a Business Development Manager in the apparel/retail vertical in India, your role primarily involves developing and managing the client base and key accounts in the apparel sector. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and managing apparel client base and key accounts. - Conducting research on apparel buying offices and building relationships with them to provide potential FOB sales leads. - Driving revenue growth in alignment with the company's strategic roadmap to increase fashion vertical customers. - Keeping abreast of key trends in the global apparel industry and providing recommendations to the management. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Proven experience in handling fashion in the freight forwarding industry. - Strong understanding of fashion industry dynamics. - Capability to develop new business opportunities within the fashion segment, including brands, retailers, exporters, and importers. - Relationship management skills to retain and grow key fashion accounts. - 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics with at least 2-3 years in fashion vertical development. Experience working with global retail or fashion brands will be an added advantage.
