Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and producing original clothing, accessories, and footwear. Your role involves conceptualizing designs, selecting fabrics, and overseeing the entire manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: - Trend Research: Stay updated on current fashion trends, colors, and fabrics to anticipate consumer preferences. - Design Conceptualization: Develop original concepts for clothing, shoes, and accessories. - Sketching & Design: Create detailed sketches and utilize computer-aided design (CAD) programs for design development. - Material Selection: Choose appropriate fabrics, patterns, trims, and colors for each design. - Prototyping: Create prototypes or models of designs to test and refine them. - Production Oversight: Oversee the entire production process to ensure quality standards are met. - Collaboration: Work with pattern makers, seamstresses, manufacturers, and other design team members. - Presentation & Marketing: Present designs to creative directors and showcase them in fashion shows and trade shows.
