About the Role: 

Deswal Sourcing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a SEDEX-compliant garment manufacturing company serving premium and luxury retailers, Private Labels across 10+ countries. We’re looking for a Fashion Designer who can take complete ownership of the design process - from concept to final sample. The ideal candidate will be responsible for trend research, mood boards, sketching, fabric selection, and overseeing sampling to ensure designs align with brand and client aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Researching and forecasting fashion trends, fabrics, and colours to develop innovative designs for upcoming collections.

2. Creating creative design concepts, sketches, mood boards, digital fashion illustrations, and technical drawings for collections.

3. Selecting appropriate fabrics, materials, textiles, and trims for production based on design aesthetics and functionality.

4. Working closely with pattern masters, tailors to ensure accurate fitting and quality execution.

5. Creating and refining patterns, sampling, prototypes, and modifications with manufacturers to meet design specifications.

6. Adapting designs based on customer feedback, market response, and brand strategy.

7. Ensuring compliance with sustainable fashion practices and ethical sourcing.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Minimum 3-4 years of experience.

2.Must be well versed with Adobe Illustrator, photoshop and other design related software's such as Coral Suites etc.

3. Strong knowledge of sizing and fits.

4. Excellent understanding of fabric behavior, garment construction, and finishing techniques.

5. Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple styles simultaneously.

Education

Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from NIFT (Must).
