Fashion Designer

Core Responsibilities:

• Trend Research and Analysis: Keeping up with current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands to inform design decisions.
• Design Development: Creating original designs, sketching concepts, selecting fabrics, colors, and trims, and developing patterns.
• Prototyping and Production: Overseeing the creation of prototypes, collaborating with pattern makers and sample sewers, and managing the production process to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaboration: Working closely with various teams, including marketing, merchandising, and production, to ensure designs align with brand strategy and market needs.
• Presentation and Communication: Presenting designs to stakeholders, participating in fashion shows, and communicating design concepts effectively to manufacturers and other team members.
• Technical Skills: Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, understanding garment construction, and possessing a strong understanding of textiles and materials.
• Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Adjusting designs based on feedback, addressing production challenges, and staying flexible in a dynamic industry.

Specific Tasks:

• Creating mood boards and design concepts.
• Sketching designs by hand or using CAD software.
• Selecting fabrics, colors, patterns, and trims.
• Developing garment patterns and prototypes.
• Overseeing the production of samples and finished garments.
• Presenting designs to clients, retailers, or senior designers.
• Participating in fashion shows and marketing events.
• Managing budgets and timelines for design projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
