Fashion Design HOD

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead our Fashion Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the department, mentoring faculty, designing curriculum, maintaining academic excellence, and ensuring the overall growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Fashion Design department operations.
• Develop and update curriculum in line with industry trends.
• Guide, mentor, and support faculty members in teaching methodologies.
• Ensure high teaching standards and student satisfaction.
• Plan and organize workshops, guest lectures, fashion shows, and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with industry experts for guest sessions, internships, and placements.
• Conduct regular department meetings and performance reviews.
• Monitor student performance and handle academic concerns.
• Manage resources, inventory, and departmental budgeting.
• Stay updated with fashion trends and introduce innovation in teaching.
• Represent the department in academic and administrative meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in fashion education or industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of fashion trends.
• Ability to manage a team and meet academic deadlines.

Technical Skills & Software Expertise:

• Design Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW
• 3D Fashion Design: CLO 3D or Marvelous Designer
• Other Tools: Canva, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern drafting, draping, and textile science

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
