Faculty – Time Series Forecasting & NLP (Contractual)

About the Opportunity

Osprey International LLP is inviting applications from experienced Data Science / AI professionals to deliver an intensive 12-day hands-on training program on Time Series Forecasting & Natural Language Processing (NLP).

The program will be conducted at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Coimbatore, one of Tamil Nadu’s premier engineering institutions.
This engagement focuses on bridging statistical forecasting with text analytics, culminating in a Generative AI–driven capstone project.

Eligibility & Skills Required

Education

• M.Tech / PhD in Data Science, AI, ML, or related fields
• OR relevant industry experience as a Data Science professional

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong proficiency in Python for Data Science (pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn)
• In-depth expertise in Time Series Analysis (Stationarity, ACF/PACF, ARIMA family)
• Solid hands-on experience in NLP (spaCy, tokenisation, text classification)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face) for data automation
• Prior experience in corporate training or academic teaching

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Quality Training
• Conduct engaging, hands-on sessions across the following modules:
• Module 1: Time Series Statistics, ARIMA, SARIMA, SARIMAX, Model Diagnostics
• Module 2: NLP Fundamentals, Text Cleaning, Rule-Based Matching (spaCy)
• Module 3 & 4: Text Classification (TF-IDF, Word Embeddings, fastText) and GenAI Integration
• Module 5: Capstone Project combining Time Series & NLP
• Student Mentorship
• Guide students in practical implementation, debugging, and applying concepts to real-world use cases such as FinTech, Predictive Maintenance, and Automation.
• Assessment & Evaluation
• Assess student progress during the Summative Assessment phase as per the curriculum.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 days

Pay: ₹26,400.00 per month
