Experience

• 3–10 years of academic, startup, or incubation experience
• Prior experience as a startup founder, co-founder, or mentor is highly desirable

Role Summary

The Faculty – Innovation & Incubation will lead teaching, mentoring, and incubation initiatives to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development among students and early-stage founders. The role blends academic delivery with hands-on startup mentoring and ecosystem engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Teaching

• Design and deliver courses in innovation, entrepreneurship, startup management, and design thinking
• Integrate experiential learning through live projects, case studies, and startup labs
• Evaluate student projects, business plans, and prototypes

Incubation & Startup Support

• Mentor student and early-stage startups through ideation, validation, and incubation
• Guide teams on business models, market research, and go-to-market strategies
• Support development of pitch decks, MVPs, and funding readiness

Ecosystem & Partnerships

• Collaborate with incubators, accelerators, industry partners, and investors
• Invite and coordinate guest lectures, mentors, and startup leaders
• Support MoUs, startup partnerships, and ecosystem collaborations

Research & Innovation

• Promote applied research, innovation projects, and IP creation
• Support patent filing, technology transfer, and commercialization efforts
• Publish research and case studies related to innovation and entrepreneurship

Administration & Reporting

• Support incubation program planning, reviews, and reporting
• Contribute to grant proposals (AICTE, DST, MSME, Startup India, etc.)
• Maintain documentation, outcomes, and impact reports

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, Technology, Design, or related discipline
• PhD preferred for senior roles
• Certification in Entrepreneurship / Innovation is an advantage
