Faculty Head

Job Description:

The Faculty Head will be responsible for leading the academic delivery and faculty team in the institute. This role ensures high-quality teaching standards, faculty coordination, syllabus execution, and overall student satisfaction. The Faculty Head will also play a key role in developing training modules, mentoring faculty, and ensuring excellent results and outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the faculty team across all subjects/training modules.
• Plan and implement academic schedules, ensuring syllabus completion on time.
• Monitor classroom delivery, teaching methods, and student engagement.
• Conduct regular faculty meetings, training, and performance evaluations
• Mentor and guide faculty members to maintain teaching quality.
• Track student performance, progress, and feedback; implement improvement plans.
• Develop and update training materials, course content, and question banks.
• Ensure timely conduction of tests, evaluations, and doubt-clearing sessions.
• Coordinate with the counseling/admissions team to align academic delivery with student expectations.
• Introduce innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and interactive learning practices.
• Resolve academic issues of both faculty and students effectively.
• Report academic performance and challenges to the management regularly.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant subject(s) or field (Education/Management/Coaching-related specialization preferred).
• 5+ years of teaching/training experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong academic and subject knowledge in [specific domain – e.g., competitive exams, IT training, language, etc.].
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple faculty members and academic operations.
• Proficiency in modern teaching aids, digital platforms, and online learning tools.
• Result-oriented mindset with focus on student success and institute growth.
