Laborer Responsibilities in Aluminum Window Fabrication1. Material HandlingReceive and inspect aluminum profiles, glass, gaskets, and accessories. Load and unload materials safely in the workshop or site. Organize and store materials to prevent damage. 2. Fabrication AssistanceAssist fabricators in: Cutting aluminum profiles to size using saw machines. Drilling and punching holes. Assembling frames with brackets and fasteners. Installing rubber gaskets, weatherstrips, and locks. 3. Surface PreparationClean aluminum profiles before assembly. Help apply sealant, insulation tape, or powder coating touch-ups (if required). 4. GlazingSupport glass handling: lifting, placing, and fixing glass into frames. Apply setting blocks and glazing beads under supervision. 5. Machine Operation (Under Supervision)Operate basic tools like: Drill machines Rivet guns Grinding or polishing tools Note: Complex machinery should be operated by skilled technicians only. 6. Site Installation SupportTransport fabricated frames to the site. Help in erecting and fixing window frames into the building openings. Hold and align windows during installation. Pass tools and materials to skilled installers. 7. Housekeeping and SafetyMaintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines (PPE, lifting techniques, etc.). Dispose of waste materials properly. ✅ General ExpectationsBe punctual and physically fit. Follow supervisor/fabricator instructions. Work as a team member. Avoid damaging materials or tools.
