Factory Manager

You are an experienced and detail-oriented Factory Manager responsible for overseeing the operations of a rubber compounding facility located in Bidadi, Bangalore. Your role involves managing billing, factory documentation, employee attendance, and daily operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production processes. Your contribution is vital in maintaining operational flow and supporting the overall growth of the manufacturing unit. Your key responsibilities include: - Billing & Financial Administration: Processing job work invoices, maintaining cost records, and assisting in budget tracking and reporting. - Documentation & Compliance: Keeping records of batch production, raw material usage, quality control, and ensuring compliance with ISO, environmental, and industry-specific standards. - Attendance & Staff Management: Monitoring employee attendance, maintaining shift rosters, and supervising production workers to ensure adherence to schedules. - Production Oversight: Supervising rubber compounding activities, ensuring proper machine operation, and monitoring quality checks. - Inventory & Raw Material Management: Tracking raw material consumption, coordinating procurement, and implementing inventory control systems. - Safety, Maintenance & Housekeeping: Enforcing safety protocols, overseeing machinery maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness in the factory. - Vendor & External Coordination: Liaising with transporters, suppliers, and partners, and assisting in audits and inspections. To qualify for this position, you need a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Chemical or Polymer Engineering, 1-2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and a strong understanding of rubber processing equipment. Proficiency in MS Office is required. The working conditions include exposure to heat, noise, and industrial materials, occasional overtime, and weekend availability.
