Factory Manager

POSITION: FACTORY MANAGER

A. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing of slabs & other products and maintenance operation of machines for smooth running of the plant and ensuring the most effective return on assets.

2. Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities & materials.

3. Ensure that business objectives and production schedules are achieved while ensuring product as per customers’ expectations.

4. Identify requirements of raw materials, consumables and its fulfilment for all routine production activities.

5. Ensure all machinery are performing according to capacity.

6. Assessment of machine efficiencies, making sure the availability of spares in advance so that production doesn’t get hampered in case of repair.

7. Identify new areas of improvement with respect to recovery, manufacturing cost, machine utilisation & ensure timely implementation of actions.

8. Implement very high standards of housekeeping, safety and general upkeep of the factory.

9. Responsible for proper production planning in alignment with sales/marketing department, ensuring that all orders are served as per committed timeliness and full utilisation of machines.

10. Identify new products/technology for manufacturing other products from Granite blocks/ sandstone such as kitchen tops, tombstone, sculptures, items for home décor etc.

11. Responsible for managing the entire staff & contractors at factory and develop highly motivated workforce.

B. EXPERIENCE

Should have worked preferably in granite slabs processing unit for 5-8 years out of which at least 3 years in a leadership role/ head of the unit.

C. EDUCATION

Graduate with preferably Engineering background

D. COMPENSATION

60000-70000

E. POSTING

The candidate shall be posted at the Granite Processing factory of the company located near Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, India

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
