Job Description

Reuters is seeking a journalist to join our dynamic and global fact-checking team.

You will have a passion for politics and current affairs, expertise in navigating social networks and a track record of spotting emerging trends and stories online.

You will be expected to deliver your findings in clear and concise English. Accuracy is paramount.

Prior experience in reporting, social media newsgathering, OSINT or fact-checking would be a clear advantage. However, as full training will be given, an enthusiastic willingness to learn quickly is at least as important.

  • Support the Reuters fact-checking team in writing misinformation trend reports
  • Work as part of our friendly, collaborative and global fact-checking team
  • Leverage generative AI models to enhance and streamline our existing fact-checking workflows
  • This role is based in Bangalore and will require occasional weekend work.
