Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of our office infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing regular inspection and maintenance of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and safety equipment. - Responding promptly to maintenance requests, carrying out necessary repairs, or escalating to vendors when required. - Coordinating with external service providers for specialized repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. - Assisting with the installation, relocation, or adjustment of office furniture and equipment. - Monitoring facility safety standards, identifying hazards, and reporting potential issues. - Keeping accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, service schedules, and inspection reports. - Supporting office infrastructure improvements and minor renovation works. - Collaborating with Admin and IT teams for facility-related setup and troubleshooting. - Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition and ensuring proper usage. - Identifying facility-related problems and implementing cost-effective technical solutions. Qualifications: - ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management, or related technical field. - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or technician role. - Basic working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair. - Ability to read basic technical drawings or manuals. - Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Ernakulam.
