Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and smooth functioning of our office infrastructure. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and ensuring that all facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and safety equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and carry out necessary repairs or escalate to vendors when required.
• Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs or preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with installation, relocation, or adjustment of office furniture and equipment.
• Monitor facility safety standards and report hazards or potential issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, service schedules, and inspection reports.
• Support office infrastructure improvements and minor renovation works.
• Collaborate with Admin and IT teams for facility-related setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure proper usage.
• Identify facility-related problems and implement cost-effective technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or technician role.
• Basic working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings or manuals.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Ernakulam.
