Facilities Building Manager

Role Overview: As a Facilities Manager at Apple's Real Estate and Development (RE&D) team, you will play a crucial role in managing and providing services to Apple's Retail stores and workplaces. Your responsibilities will include developing and running Apple's global real estate portfolio, leading capital construction projects, ensuring outstanding facilities and site services, and spearheading sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Apple LOB, RE&D, and internal/external vendors/partners - Utilize hands-on experience in comprehensive Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Soft Services - Provide input to operational expenditure planning and budgets - Drive consistency in site services and resources alignment with a broader perspective - Lead various facility initiatives and programs ranging from simple to complex - Adhere to established protocols, tools, and processes ensuring strong compliance - Participate in or lead facility strategy presentations to RE&D customers - Track site services delivery, address issues/risks, and report results to Apple customers - Ensure vendors" compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Develop IFM tools, standards, policies, guidelines, and processes related to Facility Management standards in India - Advise and implement improvements in RE&D Facility Management services Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong reporting capabilities in both written and verbal formats - Proficiency in Integrated Facility Management skills - Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices - Skills in vendor management and performance measurement - Strong process orientation and individual accountability - Knowledge of office design, construction, and project management - Problem-solving and negotiation skills - Professional demeanor and presentation - Self-starter with high motivation for success - Passion for Facility Management and service excellence Additional Company Details: The selected individual for this role will be responsible for executing the overall strategy and policy related to Facility Management services in collaboration with peers, including Group Program Manager, Facility Officers, Group Facility Coordinator, internal partners, and vendors/suppliers. They will lead Soft Services delivery, development, and continuous improvement initiatives with input from the RE&D leadership team and representatives from other regions. Experience in contract negotiation, change management, and a dedication to customer service and end-user experience will be essential for success in this role. Travel within India and international markets may be required, and flexibility in participating in global team calls across different time zones will be necessary. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facility Management, Electrical, Industrial, or Hotel industry - 8+ years of facilities management experience with a focus on delivering outstanding workplaces - Experience in contract negotiation and structuring,
