Python Automation Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Python Automation Engineer to design, develop, and deploy efficient automation scripts and frameworks across various systems and processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, improve efficiency, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts, tools, and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks, data processing, system monitoring, and software testing.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
• Design and execute automated test cases/scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Integrate automated tests and processes into the CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug automation processes and systems to ensure smooth operation and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Document automation processes, systems, and test results, and support training for team members.
• Stay updated with the latest automation technologies, frameworks (like Selenium or PyTest), and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Strong proficiency in the Python programming language and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Request).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework, or PyUnit.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience with API testing (using REST API) and database interactions (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
