Fabrication Supervisor

As the Fabrication In charge, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the fabrication department. Your role will involve overseeing metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise fabrication activities including shearing, bending, puf production, welding, and assembly. - Maintain records of production output, inventory, and downtime. - Develop and implement production schedules and workflows. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. - Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment and tools. - Train, mentor, and evaluate operators. - Coordinate with design and procurement teams for material planning. - Monitor project timelines and adjust resources as needed. - Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred). - Minimum 12 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing supervision. - Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and welding standards. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. In this role, you will need to demonstrate skills in leadership and team management, problem-solving, decision-making, a deep understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC), attention to detail and quality control, as well as effective communication and coordination.
