Fabrication Manager

As a Manager in Mechanical & Fabrication, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery to enhance performance and efficiency. Your role will require a good understanding of fabrication drawing and structural drawings to ensure any modifications align with the specified designs. It is essential to have complete knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, as well as Solenoid valve identification for accurate implementation. In this position, you will be expected to create and manage department budgets, monitor expenses, and make cost-effective decisions regarding repairs and replacements. Continuous assessment and improvement of maintenance processes will be crucial, with a focus on identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to minimize downtime while maximizing equipment reliability. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and practices is a key aspect of the role. You will be responsible for monitoring safety procedures in the workshop and addressing any safety concerns promptly. Collaboration with other departments such as production, quality control, and engineering will be necessary to facilitate smooth plant operations and maintain effective communication.
