The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design , Millwork/ Wood working/ Furniture Design / High end door design/ Material handling equipments / Machine design / Cabinet design , product development , and 2D CAD tool like Autocad & 3D CAD tool like SolidWorks. You will be responsible for transforming ideas into detailed designs, collaborating across teams, and ensuring that products are engineered for performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements. Develop design concepts and produce detailed engineering drawings. Ensure designs meet manufacturability, durability, cost, and performance criteria. Lead and participate in design reviews to resolve technical challenges. Apply knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and industrial standards (ANSI,JIS, DIN, etc.). Contribute to tooling, fixture, and jig design (preferred). Support manufacturing, production, and assembly processes (preferred). Provide hands-on support in prototyping and testing when required. Required Skills & Competencies Strong foundation in engineering mechanics , strength of materials ,and machine design . Proficiency in Autocad & SolidWorks In-depth knowledge of sheet metal , machine , or material handling equipment design . Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analysis techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments. Basic understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) .
